Hand-shaping
Every piece begins in the hands: the porcelain is shaped without industrial moulds, which is why no two pieces are ever identical. The imperfect curves are the signature.
The process
Porcelain seems fragile, yet it is one of the most resistant ceramic materials there is. That duality between delicacy and strength, able to endure through time, is the heart of OMA.

Firing at 1,260 °C
Most pieces go through a single firing at 1,260 °C, a process that demands precision from the start and defines the character of the porcelain. It is this firing that gives it its strength, allowing a delicate-looking jewel to accompany everyday wear.

24-karat gold
Pieces with a golden finish receive an application of 24-karat gold lustre and a second firing at a lower temperature. This process fuses the gold into the surface of the porcelain, adding depth, shine and durability.

Sterling silver 925
Clasps, hooks and settings are made in sterling silver 925. On some pieces, these elements are gold-plated to match the finish of the porcelain.
